marketing dollars are being spent, and the percentage of small
businesses doing so:

Printed materials, newsletters, and direct mail (44%)

Brochures (43%)
�
Yellow pages listings (39%)
�
Fliers, signs, banners, and posters (37%)
�
Social networking sites (36%)
�
Newspaper advertisements (32%)
Last year 34% of small business owners spent less on
marketing and advertising, and 1/3 of those folks said that decision
had a negative or extremely negative impact on their businesses.
