Special Report On IRTAs 33rd International Convention
IRTA Jamaican Convention
Well Attended
More than 45 barter and
trade organizations attended IRTAs 33rd International Convention in
Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The convention was highlighted in Jamaicas
largest newspaper, The Jamaica Observer, in its September 14
edition. The publication had extensive coverage of the convention
and its local host, Anbell Trade Exchange.
The well-attended event
provided an important learning opportunity for seasoned barter
industry veterans as well as new exchange owners. An Outstanding
Achievement Award recipient, Scott Whitmer of Florida Barter,
commented, It was one of the best barter industry conventions I
have ever attended in over thirty years there was a lot of energy
and new faces. IRTA certainly delivered the goods, both in terms of
quality programming and a fun all-inclusive property.
